    Basic Carmel Art Festival information:
  • 60 Artists are painting Thursday & Friday throughout Monterey.
  • They submit 2 competition paintings each on Friday evening.
  • All paintings are displayed on Mission Street next to Devendorf Park.
  • Silent Auction starts on Friday as soon as paintings are are brought in.
  • Judging is from 8AM to 10AM on Saturday.
  • Silent Auction continues all day Saturday until 6PM
  • Absentee Bidding available between 12Noon to 6PM.
  • Live Auction approx. 6:15PM to 6:30PM (for those paintings with 10 Silent Auction bids)

    NOTE: Paintings with less than 10 Silent Auction bids, highest bidder is successful bidder.
